Determining the immediate needs of a district entails assessment of current practices, current proficiencies and competency as well as overall readiness for implementation of each phase of the technology integration initiative professional development plan. Effective staff development at each phase must address critical needs, levels of performance, and learning expectations of each professional in order to optimize subgroup goals and reach district established overall performance and education goals.
Assessment of data to determine the number of professionals who will fall under the Teacher Technology Proviso and assess the scope of assistance needed to provide direction for short and long term planning. Assessment and plans will be formulated based upon district’s current and future practices regarding use of technologies for communications, teaching, learning, and community outreach.
The methodology for staff development focuses on the unique and individual characteristics of each district. Before any suggestions are made or courses created, our staff will spend considerable time determining each district’s abilities and efficiencies. By spending this time, staff development is designed that fits each district’s unique learning style.
LSG is also able to address many of the administrative challenges that technology may present to a district. From tracking and assessing teacher proficiencies, to implementing district-wide accounting and human resource solutions, our staff is able to create opportunities from apparent inefficiencies.
