MAPTrakker. MAP or Measures of Academic Progress is state-aligned computerized adaptive tests that accurately reflect the instructional level of each student and measure growth over time. Created by the Northwestern Evaluation Association to provide states with research based assessments that can be used for the following:

• Identify the skills and concepts individual students have learned.
• Diagnose instructional needs.
• Monitor academic growth over time.
• Make data-driven decisions at the classroom, school, and district levels.
• Place new students into appropriate instructional programs.

MAPTrakker will provide an ASP version of software that will allow teachers and administrators to create with just several clicks informative and useful data that teachers can use to create appropriate and relevant lesson plans.Teachers can view the data gathered from students taking MAP examinations, view the appropriate scores for each student included, and align them with State standards and indicators, and NWEA's DesCartes all in one easy to use interface.
